Casey Middle School Addition

This new two-story classroom addition improves the learning environment by providing modern, technologically advanced classrooms and a library/media center.  

Natural light was combined with direct and indirect lighting to impart a uniform level of light throughout the space. Features include custom oak bookcases, clusters of computer stations and work surface areas, and a centrally located circulation desk with skylight. The result is a pleasant, studious environment. 

Existing classrooms were renovated to improve energy efficiency through the replacement of windows, lighting, and mechanical systems. They also accommodate improved technology.

Bus, automobile, and pedestrian traffic paths were altered to provide safe access and egress.  After the classroom addition was completed, two wings of the existing facility were converted to district administration offices.
