Edward Saunders Unity Center
Community Center / Police Station This combined facility offers an innovative approach towards fostering strong ties between the community and law enforcement. The new facility also serves as an anchor for inner-city community revitalization. Community Center spaces include a dining / activities room, full kitchen, meeting rooms and offices for program administration and services. Police Station spaces include a secure vestibule / lobby area, interview rooms, offices, training rooms, communications room and full locker facilities. A full gymnasium and exercise areas are shared by both community and police. Size: 37,000 SF

Buffalo Fire Department Jefferson - Kingsley Station This animated structure serves as a neighborhood landmark for the city's inner-city redevelopment efforts. It is located on a prominent corner site. The station has three distinct zones for administration, equipment storage and living quarters efficiently knitted together through a modular assembly of building components. The corner site allows for a high degree of visibility and a drive-through apparatus room which is unique to urban fire stations. The building received a design award from the American Institute of Architects. Size: 13,000 sq. ft. / 1 story

Fillmore - Ferry Police Station
New Police Station The new facility is part of the city's precinct consolidation plan and responds to new departmental space needs. The station project is also being used as an anchor for new commercial development adjacent to the site. The building features separate secured entries for public and police use, a community meeting room along with associated police function and administration areas. The new station will also offer the very latest in police communications and technology equipment. Size: 18,300 sq. ft.
