In order to address rapid growth within the district, a new intermediate grade school was constructed as part of a $33 million capital projects bond issue.
The new two-story facility incorporates some unique features which offer flexible opportunities in educational approach.
A shared central commons area in each classroom neighborhood, a loft style art studio, a tiered multipurpose dining / performance area, a full music suite, a technology based media center, gymnasium and a 6-lane swimming pool are featured program spaces.
The new building accommodates 1,000 students.
